Here at WeTrack HQ we are very happy to report that WeTrack has been selected as the supplier for project and risk management software for the Special Olympics World Games 2023, to be hosted in Berlin.

WeTrack provided some of the event control and incident management software to the Special Olympics World Games 2019 in Abu Dhabi (things are moving so quickly at WeTrack that we have completely rebuilt that module since!) and it’s great that the senior team now trusts us to expand on that work to the planning stage with our other modules.

Ilias Despotopoulos, Chief Technology Officer said “In 2023, Berlin will host the Special Olympics World Games, the largest sporting and humanitarian event in the world for the year. Preparing, planning and delivering a Mega Event, requires proper project management and specialized software for it. In our early stages, we reviewed a number of systems available and we selected WeTrack.

WeTrack has been created by people who have successfully delivered the project management office of various Mega Events around the world, and their experience of sitting at the operational chair was certainly an added value. They have been helpful in understanding our data and ambitions and have been an important partner in helping us set up our internal processes whilst configuring the system accordingly and to our specific needs.”
